The process is very simple! Once getting in contact with Blue Ridge Goatscaping, we will schedule a meeting with you, figure out your goals for the area, and evaluate the project site to see if goats are right for you! This is also the moment where we explain the best tactics for controlling the targeted vegetation, and answering any questions and concerns you may have.
Evaluating the project site involves looking for poisonous plants, species composition, locating property lines, and hazards where the goats may be at risk. We also look for routes to install our solar powered electric netting.
Once we have completed our evaluation, we will figure out the area and perimeter to figure out how many goats and fences we need for the project. We will figure out the cost and forward the price to you. Once you have approved the work needed to be done, we will send you a contract for review and upon signature and the deposit has been submitted, we will put you on the schedule for prescribed grazing! Blue Ridge Goatscaping will give atleast a one week notice before bringing the animals in.
There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around, and learn about goats. We hope you enjoy our four legged employees and use our services.
